This is more a note to myself: You of the future, remember you like this!
Because as I look mournfully at my half filled box I know the sad truth; that this will be the only box I get this year because this was a seasonal assortment. Which I didn't find until it went on sale, and still almost missed it.
I am often pleased with the quality of chocolate from Trader Joe's and this box did not disappoint. The chocolate taste and texture is perfect, if you place one in your mouth and let it rest the ganache melts and seeps through at the first opportunity, so you can taste the sweet fruity chocolate mixed with the stronger chocolate of the shell. It's lovely, although I do use the term fruity on purpose as unless I make a note I have no idea which of the five "fruits" I'm currently eating. I don't really care though, they all taste excellent.
As of last weekend my local Trader Joe's was down to a few boxes, so this is more a note for what to buy in a year.

Well, it should.
But it isn't always. And that drives me crazy, so I have come to the internet to be among my people.
And while I'm here I would like to provide some guidance, in my own small way, of what chocolates to avoid and which ones to welcome into your company with open arms.
Also this will help me rationalize buying more truffles, and seeing how there is only three types of chocolate within arms reach at this very moment I clearly need the help.
